Letter From the President

Happy Summer, Everyone!
As we reach the middle of June, we are also approaching the end of our fiscal year at the curling club. This past year was a success thanks to the dedication and hard work of our employees, Board of Directors, trustees, and many volunteers. Please join me in thanking everyone who contributed to making our club successful.
For the second consecutive year, we have achieved our budget goals while also benefiting from strong volunteer involvement. I am extremely pleased with where the club stands today and proud of all that we accomplished together over the past year. At the same time, we recognize that there is always room to grow and improve.
While many of our members are enjoying the summer months, our board, staff, trustees, and volunteers continue to work behind the scenes. Summer is an important time for completing major projects and implementing operational improvements that help ensure a successful curling season. The more preparation we accomplish now, the smoother and more enjoyable the season will be for everyone.
We have reviewed the surveys that were submitted and appreciate everyone who took the time to provide feedback. Your input is valuable, and we are working to address opportunities for improvement and enhance the overall club experience.
Many of the improvements we hope to make rely on members volunteering their time and talents. This is our club, and maintaining a strong organization requires all of us working together. If you are interested in getting involved, please reach out to the office, a board member, or our volunteer coordinator, Nicole Caldwell.
Club leadership remains committed to being as transparent as possible and will continue providing regular updates to the membership. If you have questions about club operations, upcoming initiatives, or the direction of the club, please do not hesitate to reach out.
Thank you for your continued support, and enjoy your summer.
Good curling, and we'll see you in the fall!

Club Q&A - Online Streaming
In this section of the newsletter we address common questions heard around the club. We will address a different topic each month. This month - online streaming.
Our club is extremely grateful to provide online streaming. Having streaming is extremely expensive because of the equipment cost and the amount of internet service required to stream multiple sheets live. We are one of only 9 clubs in the state that are able to provide this service.
We are fortunate that our equipment was donated by a generous curling supporter and our system is run by a small group of very dedicated volunteers. Thank you team!!
If you would like to donate to our video streaming or have expertise to share, please contact Kerry:
