Registration for the junior program and all leagues EXCEPT Learn To Curl will open on Monday, August 28. Registration will take place online again, just like last year. Registration will close on Friday, September 15. If you register after this date we will not guarantee your team's place in your league from previous seasons.
For new members who will be participating in the Learn To Curl League, your registration will open on Monday, September 18.
Any returning membership paid after the 15th will be charged a $50 late fee. Please contact all your team members to make sure everyone knows to register on time!
League Changes This Season
The board of directors and the DCC league committee are excited to announce the following changes to our league offerings for the 2023-2024 season:
- NEW Senior League Wednesdays 1:00-2:30pm: Sign up as a team and have a league schedule - differs from afternoon seniors which is a drop in league. (Capacity: 18 teams)
- NEW 2x2 Doubles League: Will run in a similar format to our current 1 on 1 league. Teams will schedule their own games. (Capacity: 11 teams). When you register please put your partners name int he provided text box. Games limited to one hour
- NEW 3 Ports Travel League Wednesday at 8:00pm: In partnership with the Two Harbors CC and the Superior CC. Teams will rotate their games between the three clubs on Wednesdays at 8pm. (Capacity for league: 32 teams, 16 of which are reserved for DCC members)
- 5 and Under League MOVED to Mondays at 8:00pm: With the addition of the travel league mentioned above, the 5 and under league will move to Mondays at 8pm.
- Friends and Family League: previously held Sundays from 3:30-5:00pm will be eliminated.
- NEW Additional Junior Session added Sunday 3:00-4:30pm: We are adding an additional time slot for juniors on Sundays @ 3:00. The Sunday session is open to ages 8 and up. (Under 7 allowed with a parent joining them on ice.) It is an instructional league with focus on skills development. This is separate from Tuesday Juniors and will be run by a new coordinator. Tuesday Juniors @ 4:00 will run the same as in previous years with Ray Lopez as the coordinator.
- Thursday at 8:00pm: Becomes an Open League This league will switch from a men's only league to an open league to try and increase participation.
In-Person Registration
For those that would prefer to register in person, we will have two evenings where you can stop into the club. Kristin and Kerry will be there to assist you. The dates for in-person registration are:
- Thursday, September 7 from 5-7 pm
- Tuesday, September 12 from 5-7 pm
